The inauguration ceremony for the 13th and 14th Presidents of the Korea Women Inventors Association was held on Tuesday, February 18, in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.  Yi Hae Yeon, the newly appointed president who will lead the Association for the next two years, is the CEO of a KOSDAQ-listed company. Over the past 25 years, she has created 433 intellectual property rights and has driven corporate growth in the bio-healthcare sector based on R&D and IP.  In her inaugural speech, President Yi stated, "I will actively utilize the experience and human network I have built through creating and utilizing intellectual property to support the commercialization of IP by women inventors and to revitalize their business operations." She added, "In particular, I will do my best to identify the challenges women inventors face in entering the market and the support they need, and to share successful IP-based business cases so that R&D outcomes can become a driving force for corporate growth."   |
